Continuing our tradition of education & value, is our Workshop/Jam Sessions series. Bring your instrument, learn in the workshops, and then put what you've learned to work in jam sessions with the pros! Each day at FiddleFest features workshops from 11 AM to 1 PM, and afternoon jam sessions, at either the Breezeway, or in the "Rat", downstairs in Moody Hall. Where else can you attend a festival, listen to great concerts, learn from the pros in workshops, jam with these same folks, and camp, for just $45.00? Nowhere but FiddleFest!
Friday, July 25 Jam Sessions
1:30 to 2:45 PM, "Pro Jam"
In the Visual Arts auditorium, the pros gather around for a jam session with each other, featuring Jamie Dailey, Darren Vincent, Jeff Parker, Joe Dean, Paul Williams, Herschel Sizemore, Alan Bibey, Steve Gulley, Phil Leadbetter, Jason Davis, Jamie Booher, Victor, Steve, Robert, Donald Dowdy, and Brandon Farley.
3:00 to 4:30 PM, "The Clinch Mountain Jam" (bring your instrument and pick!)
Featuring all the Clinch Mountain Boys, downstairs in The Rathskeller. Bring your instrument and your best Dr. Ralph voice impression, and sit in with the premier old time mountain music band on earth! Open jam for singers, pickers, and spectators.
Saturday, July 26 Jam Session
