What do FiddleFest Volunteers do?

Volunteers make our festival work! As a FiddleFest volunteer, you will be assigned a shift (or more, depending on how many you signed up for). Volunteers receive a day pass for the day of their shift, so after your shift is over you can enjoy the festival! Listed below are the jobs our volunteers do. You can sign up for a job and a shift using the online application.

Tickets/Check in
Duties include assisting at the Tickets and Information station, selling tickets, putting wristbands on festival attendees, checking in other volunteers, answering questions about the festival.

Drinks/Snacks/Merchandise
Duties include selling Pepsi products, snacks, and FiddleFest merchandise.

Beer ID Check
Duties include checking IDs of persons entering the beer garden area. You must be 21 years old to check IDs. Don't forget to bring your photo ID to confirm.

Beer Pouring
Duties include pouring beer from tap. You must be 21 years old to pour beer. Bring photo ID. Don't forget to bring your photo ID to confirm.

Parking & Security
Duties include assisting with parking, directions, and concert security, checking for wristbands, monitoring concert entrance areas, and other duties as needed.

FiddleFest Express Driver
Duties include driving the FiddleFest Express Shuttle Bus on the campus route.

Set up/Tear down
Help us set up or tear down the festival. Duties include setting up/tearing down tents, tables, chairs, signs, banners, and other duties as needed. As no festival events are going on during set up/tear down, volunteers working on these days will receive one day pass for the festival day of their choice.
